About the artist and the project
I have lived in SOWEBO since 2011, and I trully love our neighbor. We have some of the best people. I know so many people in my neighborhood and they are all talented, community oriented people. I am a photographer and community organizer/artist that enjoy the Baltimore landscape and history.
We are Sowebo project focuses on the stories of the people and places in our community. It is another way to learn about your neighborhood. SOWEBO neighborhoods have a rich Baltimore "charm" and history that needs to be shared and preserved with the city. This photo essay project will a long term project that explores the unique people and stories of all the neighborhoods, and hopefully all of Baltimore will experience the greatness that makes SOWEBO.
